Jerry Pollotta was the featured author at Storyfest this year. On Friday, he conducted an author visit to Aue ES. My nephew, Elliott, was thrilled to meet him and added to his book collection!

The vendors were placed in the Great Room at NAC and it was filled with children and parents who came to enjoy a morning filled with activities and information for summer reading and fun! We met some cool people and made some new contacts.
Meet Mickey, Jerry Pollotta's sister who travels with him and manages his book sales. She met my sister Linda at Aue and promised to make contact with us at Storyfest. Mickey hunted us down and we have made a new friend! Besties loved that she wanted to take selfies with us and even bought our whole book collection to take back to Massachusetts for her grandchildren. Sally and I couldn't have been more thrilled to meet a sweet, vibrant person!

It was a great turnout at Myers Elementary for their special night of entertaining the students and parents with literature. Besties Publishing presented The Three Little Marranitos around the campfire.
